Traditional or local wisdom was direct experiences transferred from generations. These included career experience, life experience, environmental learning that persist in the communities for a long time.
COERR supported the varieties of local wisdom activities that the younger generations carried on. This had enabled the elders to transfer the traditional local wisdoms to the youngers for preservation and admiration of local wisdom value.
These traditional local wisdom activities, supported by COERR, have strengthened relationships between the elders and their younger members. The elders were praised and honored as local wise men. Additionally, the youth would use this know-how to earn a living in the future.
